Vine cottage is an incredibly handsome 18th century listed period home which has been sympathetically restored with a stylish and beautifully presented interior. This rather special home is situated in a county lane in the heart of the village with unspoiled country walks literally on your doorstep.
The cottage has a light filled southerly aspect at the front with characterful accommodation arranged over three floors. You enter the cottage from the rustic side entrance porch, there is a useful utility and cloakroom.
There is an attractive contemporary fitted kitchen with integrated appliances and the essential country Aga. The delightful sitting room has a fine open brick fireplace with a staircase leading to the first floor with the principal double bedroom and attractive contemporary bathroom. On the second floor is a further single bedroom.
The delightful gardens which face south are situated at the front and side. An unusual benefit with a period home is the generous off-road parking. The cottage is warmed by oil central heating and the more traditional feature of an open fire.
A rather unique village home which is ready for a new custodian to enjoy. Perfect for those who wish to downsize, or as a pied-de-terre or perfect as an Airbnb.
