Wayside Cottage is a simply charming period cottage in the popular village of Evercreech.
There is an entrance porch, which leads into the large sitting/dining room where there is a open fire which has a fitted 'gas woodburner'. There are exposed beams and wooden floors.
To the rear, there is a good sized kitchen/dining room which has a range of units and wooden work surfaces, as well as a hallway with a useful cupboard, stairs to first floor and a cloakroom. There is also a door which leads to the garden.
Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms - two with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. There is also a large shower room (a bath has just been removed).
Outside, there is a delightful garden with lawn, patio and some lovely tree and shrubs. There is a side gate and a rear gate which leads to the parking area. There is also a large shed.
All in all, Wayside Cottage is a most appealing property and is offered with no onward chain.
Evercreech is a wonderful village - close to Bruton and Castle Cary. It has many local amenities to include a Co Op with a post office, hairdresser, pharmacy, fish and chip shop, public house and a primary school.
Shepton Mallet is the nearest large town and is less than 4 miles away. Here you will find larger supermarkets and a further range of shops.
